What the tool is

LantierImpianti uses an internal, self-hosted application, running on a company-owned server at its own premises, to schedule and publish content on its own social media accounts: company pages and the owner’s personal profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile. The tool is not offered to third parties and does not manage accounts belonging to clients or anyone else.

Data processed

The tool processes only:

OAuth access tokens issued by each platform when an administrator connects an account;
basic identifiers of the connected accounts (name, ID, profile picture);
the list of pages the connected user administers;
content prepared by the company for publication (text, images, video) and its status;
aggregate statistics on published posts, where the platform provides them.

The tool does not collect data about followers, visitors or other platform members, does not send private messages and does not perform profiling.

Purpose and legal basis

Managing the communication and promotion of the company and its owner. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for the owner’s own data, the consent given when connecting the account.

Storage location

On a company-owned server located in Italy. Optional automatic caption generation runs on an AI model executed locally on the same server; content is not sent to external services for this purpose.

Sharing

Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties. It is transmitted only to the relevant social platform at the moment of a requested publication.

Retention

Access tokens are stored while the account remains connected and are deleted upon revocation. Published content is kept as an internal archive for up to 24 months.

Revoking access

Authorization can be revoked at any time from the platform’s settings (on LinkedIn: Settings › Data privacy › Permitted services) or by contacting the controller.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to daniele@lantierimpianti.it. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
