Door entry and video intercoms, from a single house to a whole estate
We install new systems and repair old ones. Before replacing everything, we check whether a repair makes more sense.
Repairing an old system
Plenty of apartment buildings have analogue intercoms from thirty years ago that still work well — until one part fails. Often, replacing that part is enough.
In stock, we keep spare parts for older Urmet, Elvox, Bitron and MM systems. When a part is no longer made, we look at whether it can be sourced or rebuilt.
If a repair is cheap and the system is sound, we’ll say so. If faults keep coming back or parts have run out, we’ll explain why replacement makes sense. See also should an old intercom be repaired or replaced?.
Single houses
What you ask for
To see who’s at the door, open the gate from your phone, and a system that’s easy to use.
What we do
Outdoor panel, one or more indoor stations, door release and, if needed, answering from an app.
Which technology
Usually a dedicated two-wire bus system: simple and reliable. IP makes sense if the house already has a network or KNX automation.
Apartment buildings
What the property manager asks for
A system that works for everyone, clear costs for the residents’ meeting, short works in the common areas.
What we do
Entrance panel, risers, indoor stations in each flat, power supplies. Partial replacements too, one staircase at a time.
Which technology
A dedicated bus often reuses the existing cables, which keeps building work down. With many flats or extra services (concierge, access control), IP over the building network is the better choice. See condominiums and property management.
Campuses and estates
What you ask for
Several entrances, a concierge desk, buildings far apart, calls that reach the right place.
What we do
Outdoor panels at each access point, concierge stations, links between buildings.
Which technology
IP over structured cabling, with fibre between distant buildings. The network equipment lives in the cabinets or the server room.
Installation and repair
We work on BTicino, Comelit, Urmet, Elvox, Bitron and MM systems, both new and older ones.
Declaration of conformity
We are a firm licensed under Ministerial Decree 37/2008. For new systems, alterations and extensions we give you a declaration of conformity; repairs that don’t change the system don’t need one. See who issues the declaration of conformity.

What happens when you get in touch
I’m Daniele Lantieri, managing partner and technical lead at LantierImpianti. Here’s what happens after you call or send a message.
I speak fluent English. From the first call to the end of the job, we handle everything in English: site visit, quote, works, and explaining every document you receive.
You’ll speak to me
I answer the phone myself. If I’m on site, I’ll call you back as soon as I can: before the evening or the next morning.
Tell me what’s going on, in your own words
You don’t need the technical terms — that’s our job. Just tell me what you can see or what isn’t working. A photo helps if you have one.
I tell you what I’d do
For a small job, we agree a day. For bigger work, I come and take a look and then send you a written quote. The site visit for a quote is free.
You decide, in your own time
Calling or writing commits you to nothing. Take the time you need, and feel free to get other opinions.
