Replacing a submersible pump in a well

A submersible pump down a well. We lifted it out with a crane truck, pipe by pipe, and replaced it.

What needed doing

The well’s submersible pump needed replacing.

What we did

With the help of a crane truck we lifted the rising main, taking the pipes off one at a time, down to the pump.

Then we lowered the new pump and reassembled the main.

The result

The well has a new pump on the reassembled rising main.
